This lovely converted barn is set in the gently rolling countryside of the Brett Valley and offers a wonderful place to escape to and relax in. The main house is a fine example of a typical 14th Century Suffolk Hall House, which has been a working farm for hundreds of years, and Stable Cottage is part of the 19th Century farm buildings which have been sympathetically converted.

Stable Cottage has all ground floor accommodation with high ceilings giving a lovely airy feel. Besides the well-equipped, open-plan kitchen and dining area, there is a sitting room with a wood burning stove which is a lovely cosy room to return to in the winter months.
You have use of a small private patio and garden area whilst also sharing the use of a swimming pool with The Old Barn. There are paths around the fields which are now home to thoroughbred mares and a small herd of pedigree Hereford cattle, and you are able to walk along the picturesque river bank or head out on a public footpath away from the far end of the property.
For a smaller group, Stable Cottage is also available to book for four guests in three bedrooms. It is also possible to stay at The Old Barn, a further barn conversion on the site, The Old Barn sleeps seven guests and can be booked separately or both together as The Old Barn & Stable Cottage for a larger family gathering.
