Small, but perfectly formed, this former farmer's cottage is a charming bolt hole to escape to for a couple or a small family. Sitting midway between the villages of North Creake and Burnham Market, you are perfectly placed for exploring the coast and inland areas of beautiful North Norfolk. Set on the edge of the village, this petite mid-1920 brick and flint cottage sits just back from the village road, at the end of a row of four cottages. Furnished from top to bottom in contemporary cottage-style, on the ground floor there is a smart fitted kitchen with dining area to one side. This room leads through to a cosy sitting room with a view across fields and a wood burning stove to light when the nights draw in and the days are chilly. From the sitting room, stairs lead up to the first floor and the two bedrooms; a double bedroom at the front of the cottage that enjoys a countryside view, and a large single at the back, overlooking the rear garden, Both rooms share the family bathroom, also on this floor. Outside to the rear of the cottage is a gem of garden - completely private* and fully enclosed, you have a choice of seating areas to ensure you can catch the afternoon sun and perhaps share a bottle of wine from the local vineyard as it sets on the day. North Creake is a pretty village with brick and flint cottages dotted along the road to Burnham Market, just three miles away. The village has a great family pub serving good wholesome food, and is on the doorstep of the fabulous destination of Creake Abbey, very popular with locals and visitors alike.
