St Agnes is just over 2 miles away, and is a quaint coastal village with shops, sandy coves and beaches, stunning walks, beachside pubs serving home cooked food and locally brewed ales. The North Cornwall Coast is close by with Porthtowan and its sandy beach and Perranporth which is a traditional family resort with rock pools, sand dunes, beach bar, surf hire and golf. Newquay is a short drive and has a sea life centre, zoo and family attractions including Creally Adventure Park and Dairyland. Truro, Padstow, St Ives, Fowey, the Roseland Peninsula and Land’s End are all easily reached. Horse riding, cycling, sea fishing, boat trips and kayaking locally. Beach 2 miles.
