Large lawned garden. Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is a small unfenced stream opposite the cottage and one beyond the boundary fence to the rear. There are 6 steps on a sloping bank to the garden.. This delightful semi-detached cottage enjoys lovely rural views, yet is withinin easy walking distance of the village stores, post office and pub. Carno is renowned as being the home of the famous textile designer Laura Ashley, and is a beautiful location for exploring the borderlands of England and Wales, an area that is bursting with historic market towns and tranquil villages. The area is also perfect for walking with many footpaths starting from the village, and is within easy reach of the bustling town of Newtown. Set on the banks of the River Severn, Newtown boasts a good selection of pubs and restaurants as well as excellent shopping.
