Perfectly placed for getting out and about, the property is within easy reach of the area’s famous beaches of Woolacombe, Saunton and Croyde. Set on the owner’s small country holding of Centery Farm, The Milking Shed has been thoughtfully and tastefully furnished to provide a relaxing and comfortable stay. The open plan living area with its high vaulted ceiling has doors leading out on to a private patio area, here you will find the key attraction, the hot tub. The perfect place to unwind after a busy day out exploring. The Milking Shed is ideal for a couple and small families, and guests are invited to bring along a pet to help enjoy the time away. There is plenty of open space for children to play or to walk and exercise the dog within the confines of Centery Farm, there is also a large pond which is a hive of activity during the summer with all kinds of wildlife attracted to its surroundings. Along with the beaches, there is much to see and do in the area. Nearby Ilfracombe has a good range of shops and amenities on offer. You will also find The Tunnels Beach, the harbour and numerous pubs and restaurants. Access to the South West Coast Path, which travels through the surrounding National Trust Land, again is within walking distance of the house. There are numerous attractions within easy reach of the property including the Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, Watermouth Castle and the Lynton to Lynmouth cliff railway. There are lots of smaller villages, coves and bays to visit including Lee Bay, Mortehoe and Barricane beach. Exmoor is a short distance away and on a clear day the views can be spectacular. There are National Trust properties at Arlington and Knightshayes, and the RHS gardens at Rosemoor, Great Torrington to visit. From Ilfracombe harbour, there are numerous boats offering fishing trips or excursions along the dramatic coastline and trips to Lundy island. There is also a golf course nearby.
