California beach is beautiful but this coastline has a range of beach habitats to choose from, including wide sandy beaches and soft, grassy undulating sand dunes. So whatever you are looking for on your day at the coast you will find it here. Visit the Golden Mile at Great Yarmouth and experience a host of traditional seaside attractions including the Pleasure Beach. Thrill seekers are also sure to enjoy a day out at Pleasurewood Hills, Norfolk’s only Theme Park. For a change of pace, visit Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens and take the tiger walk across the treetops (if you dare!). Nearby Caister Castle features a classic car museum and there is also a pitch and put, a race course, BeWILDerwood, a Sea Life centre, a leisure centre and a host of great places to eat and drink. You are also close to the Norfolk Broads where you can drift along these famous waterways by either chartering your own day launch or joining an organised tour.
