For the more adventurous, this area is famous for the variety of outdoor activities, with cycle trails, hill walking, sailing, canoeing, pony trekking, fishing and golf all surrounded by spectacular scenery. The popular tourist town of Callander is within short driving distance, (6 miles), and has good places to eat, coffee shops, galleries and tourist shops, and also hosts regular events including the highland games. For guests who want to explore further afield, Stirling is only a 40-minute drive, and Perth, Edinburgh and Glasgow are an hour away.
