Clover Field is a fantastic property, adjacent to the owners’ home, that combines the old and new parts of the house seamlessly, with excellent original features and the comforts of more modern living. It’s ideal for families, groups and couples. As you enter the property into a stunning entrance hall, to the left is a well-equipped utility room with space for coats and shoes, and a downstairs toilet. The modern open plan living space has enough room to seat all guests comfortably with large bi-fold doors out to the sunken patio area. The patio area benefits from a table and benches with enough seating for everyone as well as a hanging chair and a water feature. The living area is fitted with a multi-fuel burner making for a cosy stay, even in the winter. At the top of the stairs to the left is a kingsize bedroom that is full of character, including original beams. To the right up 2 steps is the family bathroom and up another 2 steps is a double bedroom. This bedroom has access onto the balcony which looks out over the garden and neighbouring field. There’s a twin bedroom and then finally the master bedroom. This has its own en-suite shower room and also has access to the balcony. The outside space is fantastic and has a mixture of lawned areas and wild areas that can be explored. The garden also has an unfenced pond. Take in some fabulous walking within the Wye Valley, which boasts some stunning scenery. This is a perfect base from which to visit nearby family attractions which include Clearwell Caves, The Secret Forest, Puzzlewood, Perrygrove Steam Railway, a sculpture trail and a railway museum. The Forest of Dean has always been a huge draw for cyclists (the property has a rack to store four bikes behind a locked gate) and walkers. Areas within easy reach include Clearwell, Newland and St Briavels. Symonds Yat is a popular destination for ornithologists due to the prescence of nesting peregrine falcons.
