Drigg is a small village on the west coast of Cumbria. The beach is renowned for its natural beauty and wildlife, where you can walk along the sand dunes that stretch for miles. For the fell walkers, nearby Scafell Pike and the breathtaking Wasdale Valley can be seen from the house, so you can keep an eye on the weather before you decide to make your ascent. Families can enjoy the wonderful Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway, 7 miles away, which runs up the scenic Eskdale valley. A little further down from here is Muncaster Castle and gardens, an historic castle with the Wild Owl Trust within its grounds. For the golfers, why not try the 18-hole links golf course at Seascale, 2 miles, or for cyclists you will be spoilt for choice with the endless miles of routes to take? Beach 1 mile.
