Living room: With wood burner, 55" Smart TV and patio doors leading to garden. Dining room. Kitchen: With electric oven, electric hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Bedroom 1: With zip and link super kingsize bed (can be twin beds on request). Bedroom 2: With zip and link super kingsize bed (can be twin beds on request). Shower room: With shower cubicle, toilet and heated towel rail. Separate toilet.. With an enviable location at the edge of the Ullswater Lake, you have water sports, cycling and walking right on your doorstep. For the hikers in your group there are the nearby fells that include the High Street range, just 1 mile away, and Helvellyn, 10 miles away. South of the lake you can drive over the scenic Kirkstone Pass which takes you down into the popular town of Ambleside and Lake Windermere. The traditional market town of Penrith is a 15-minute drive away and offers a good variety of shops, pubs and restaurants. Whether you plan to leave the car parked up and enjoy all that Tighnamara and Pooley Bridge have to offer or going further afield to explore the Lake District, this is the perfect base from which to do so.
