Located in the rural village of Tilston, Rock Cottage is a pretty, semi-detached cottage just perfect for a retreat in the heart the Cheshire countryside. Beautifully refurbished throughout in 2020, for cosy winter months you’ll find a wood burning stove pride of place in the living room. Alternatively, for those long summer days the cottage is set in delightful cottage gardens, with views over a wild flower meadow to the rear. Pleasant walks can be enjoyed along the country lanes and footpaths, which encompass the charming village, which even with such tranquillity on the doorstep is far from isolated. Tilston itself is home to a beautifully quaint village shop, and a pub serving good food. A mere 5-minute drive will take you to the thriving village of Malpas, where you’ll find a bustling high street with a good range of shops, pubs and restaurants. For those seeking some pampering, a 10-minute drive will take you to a luxury country estate with spa and leisure facilities, together with two championship golf courses. The historic walled city of Chester can be reached in 30 minutes, and has much to offer including a racecourse, zoo and excellent shopping.
