Morvich Guest Lodge is a pretty turn of the century detached stone cottage. It has been renovated to a very high standard and provides excellent accommodation in the heart of a beautiful Highland estate. The Morvich Estate covers more than 5,000 acres of typical Highland scenery between Golspie and Dornoch, on the east coast of northern Scotland. With hills, lochs, rivers and forest, it is the perfect setting for a Highland holiday. Being at Morvich also provides a great base for exploring this stunning location. You are only a couple of miles from the North Coast 500, so you can be exploring many of the route highlights in no time at all. Golspie, just 5 miles away, offers all the amenities expected of a seaside resort, as well as a wonderful sandy beach with scenic walks to enjoy. In the opposite direction lies Dornoch, a stand out town and former Royal Burgh, it has a 13th century cathedral and the former Bishop’s Palace is now a prestigious hotel. There is also the Royal Dornoch Golf Course, this championship course has received fantastic rankings over the years and is a must for golfing enthusiasts. After a day out exploring the local area, or further afield on the North Coast 500, walking the hills or playing golf, returning to Morvich Guest Lodge is a real treat. This spacious house offers very comfortable accommodation for up to 10 guests. Ideal for families or groups of friends, this property offers 5 twin bedrooms, each with en-suite facilities. Entering through the front door you are drawn to the kitchen and dining area, which has a large dining table and everything you need to cook a delicious meal. Enjoy spending time with friends or family over a hearty meal. The living room has a cosy open fire and Smart TV, ideal for relaxing after a long day exploring. There is also a utility room and a bedroom on the ground floor too, and the further four bedrooms are located on the first floor. Outside, guests can enjoy a southfacing area with garden furniture and BBQ. Guests also have access to the nearby estate tennis court- feel free to bring along your own rackets and balls, or hire them on-site.
