Only a few miles from Taliaris is the traditional, gorgeous tourist town of Llandeilo. Llandeilo is one of the prettiest towns in Wales, a quaint and charming place with friendly locals, superb inns and an interesting range of shops. Llandeilo entered into life as a religious centre founded by Saint Teilo, from whom the town derives its name. Why not make the 3 mile trip in to the town and bring your bikes too if you wish? There are many well-known local attractions like Aberglasney Gardens, National botanical gardens, Newton House, Dinefwr castle, Castell Carreg Cennen and the list goes on, as well as just being 30 minutes away from Llansteffan beach. There are also large popular attractions like Oakwood theme park, Bluestone, Blue lagoon, Folly Farm are all around an hour’s drive away, or just stay at Cefncilwg and relax among the beautiful surroundings. The property comprises of a large living room with a cosy wood burner for those cooler evenings. Another smaller living room with wood burner. There is a large dining room which has stunning, panoramic views of the beautiful Carmarthenshire countryside. There is a beautiful country kitchen/dining room, Rayburn and a welcoming spacious porch with laundry facilities. Upstairs there are four spacious bedrooms, three are kingsize and then a twin room, all with country décor. There is also a quaint bathroom upstairs with a spacious walk-in shower. The large landing compromises a cosy sitting area where you can sit and read your favourite book. Downstairs we have a wheelchair accessible double bedroom which is next to a luxurious spacious bathroom with roll-top bath. There are three entrances to the property, one of these being located on the front of the property in direct view of the tranquil pond, here there will be an added seating area where you can enjoy your morning coffee and soak up the views and beautiful sounds of the birds and wildlife; hedgehogs, herons, otters, rabbits and more. The red kites are a spectacular sight to see, and listen out for the woodpeckers. Our bird feeders are filled on a regular basis to encourage our regular visitors to come and greet you! Outside there is also a large play area for the children set away from the pond on the opposite side of the property. This is next to the field where the Alpacas and miniature Shetlands wait patiently to say hello. Large enclosed lawned garden with panoramic views of the outstanding countryside and large pond which is infused with natural wildlife and garden furniture. This detached holiday home is the perfect place for larger families and for groups of friends to have a fantastic holiday together.
