Spread over two floors, the property has been tastefully furnished and decorated throughout. Maltings Lodge is accessed via the back door and leads directly into the light filled kitchen with large glass doors opening onto the patio. The kitchen is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, dishwasher and microwave, as well as a small dining area for enjoying a pot of tea in the morning sun, which floods in through the doors from the south facing garden. There is a further formal dining room with seating for up to six guests making it an ideal space for a celebratory supper. On cooler evenings, the sitting room with comfy reclining sofas and an open fire, makes for a cosy night in. Downstairs is a further front hallway and a wet room which is ideal for guests who are less mobile. On the first floor there are three well appointed bedrooms. The master bedroom has a 6' super-king size bed, television and en-suite shower room. Bedroom two with a 3' single bed has ample wardrobe space and shares the generous family bathroom with bedroom three, which provides another 6' super-king size bed, which can be configured as twin 3' single beds on request.
Outside is a large, south facing patio with outdoor furniture and a charcoal barbecue. Guests are permitted to access the garden shed for storing bicycles.
The property is merely a five minute's stroll from the local village pub, and Chelsworth itself is less than 10 minute's drive from the historic village of Lavenham.
