Spread out and make yourselves at home in this striking, six bedroom holiday home, where up to 12 guests and three happy hounds can relax in comfort. Head out from the tranquil village of Lamplugh to explore the Ennerdale Valley and Loweswater Fells. Walk around beautiful Loweswater itself, 3 miles away, or hike to Crummock Water, 3.5 miles away, taking in the spectacular mountain views on the route. Go horse riding or mountain biking in the area. Drive 7 miles to Cockermouth, birthplace of William Wordsworth, to shop for delicious local produce, or spend the afternoon in Keswick, 17 miles away, to browse in its independent outlets and perhaps dine out. Enter this beautiful barn conversion to discover its clever, upside down layout. Find the generous reception hall gives access to four of the bedrooms: these include two doubles, a twin and a bunk room. There is also a family bathroom, with WC, handbasin and freestanding bath, plus a separate WC and a utility room, with washing machine and tumble dryer at this level. Venture upstairs to find your splendid lounge/diner, with its high vaulted and beamed ceiling. Settle on the sofas in here to watch TV or play a game together. Make your way over to the large table for jolly group meals prepared in the kitchen next door.
