This home from home is located in Stretton Westwood, just 1.5 miles from Much Wenlock, a stunningly beautiful historic town. It was the birthplace of the modern Olympian movement and offers unique shops, pubs, tearooms, a popular family butcher, a 12th century priory, and a museum. Other attractions all within 15 miles include the Ironbridge Gorge Museum, Blists Hill Victorian Town, National Trust s Attingham Park, Benthall Hall, The Long Mynd and Carding Mill Valley. Pop to Acton Scott Victorian Farm and the Severn Valley Railway in Bridgnorth. Well worth a visit is medieval Shrewsbury, with independent shops, a castle, theatre, riverside boat trips, an abbey, and museums. Activities on offer include hang gliding on the Mynd, pony trekking on Wenlock Edge, and walking and cycling in and around Shropshire to name but a few.
