Sandiway 1.2 miles. This quality detached cottage is situated close to the village of Sandiway, within reach of the town of Northwich and the historic city of Chester. An ideal base for visiting Cheshire, this lovely holiday home is close to many attractions and wonderful places to visit. Set mostly over the ground floor, this superb holiday home has a light and airy open plan living area with underfloor heating throughout, and an additional warming woodburner, perfect to relax in front of with loved ones after a busy day out and about. The kitchen is well-equipped for preparing a hearty meal, which can then be enjoyed around the dining table where talk of what to see or where to go during the rest of your stay can be discussed. From the living area you will find two of the three bedrooms, one of which is suitable for less mobile guests with wide doors and an en-suite wet room shower. Up on the first floor is a charming king-size double bedroom which has en-suite facilities and a sitting area from where countryside views can be enjoyed. To the outside and adding luxury to this holiday home is a hot tub; what better place to unwind on a sunny evening, maybe after an alfresco meal on the patio. The village of Sandiway has a number of amenities, including shops, a Post Office and pubs, with Blakemere Shopping Village well worth a visit with its independent shops and antique centre. Close by are the town of Northwich, Oulton Park, the Anderton Boat Lift and Delamere Forest, and within driving distance are the city of Chester, the North Wales coast and National Trust properties. Sandiway along with its twin village of Cuddington officially became one village in 1935. Sandiway has two parades of shops, a Post Office, pubs, a number of churches and a railway station. On the edge of the village is Sandiway Golf Club, and close by is Blakemere Shopping Village with its antique emporium, independent shops and activities.
