The village of Rosudgeon has two pubs, The Falmouth Packet just 4 minutes walk. The iconic St Michael's Mount is just over 2 miles, where lunch or a drink overlooking the beach at The Godolphin Arms is a treat not to be missed. A little further afield is the fishing village of Porthleven, where you will find the latest Rick Stein fish restaurant and a wander around the quaint fishing harbour at Newlyn should be enjoyed with a Cornish ice cream from Jelberts! An ideal base to explore the region at any time of year.
The most westerly major town in Cornwall, Penzance faces the shores of Mounts Bay, the famous St Michael's Mount rising from the sea in its centre.
