Upon entering you will be welcomed by a lovely lounge, light and airy, with two comfortable sofas and a central woodburning stove. After preparing those delicious home-cooked meals in the well-equipped kitchen, you can relax here for a night away from it all, perhaps planning your up and coming adventures amongst the warm ambience. The ground floor is also complemented by a family bathroom, tied together with a bath and an overhead shower for your convenience. Come night time, the first floor spoils you with choice, presenting two beautiful bedrooms; a twin, and a king-size, both with east-facing windows where you can enjoy the morning sun and views across fields and open farmland. With the whole interior bringing a sense of elegance and serenity, you will look forward to returning after a busy day of sightseeing. Step outside of the cottage to be at one with the lovely surroundings, in your own enclosed garden backed by far-stretching countryside to really set the scene. Home to famous castles and some of the UK's longest beaches, take advantage of the fabulous location and its many walks and solitude on the doorstep. The property is close to the village of Felton, where you will find The Running Fox pub and Northumberland Arms for delicious lunches. Also Eshott Hall is within walking distance of the cottage, where you can enjoy a lovely meal or afternoon tea for that a special occasion. The market towns of Morpeth and Alnwick are close by for leisure facilities, and wonderful Newcastle is accessible for a cultural experience. A heart-warming cottage not to be missed.
Eshott is located just south of the village of Felton which offers a good range of day-to-day amenities with a village shop and post office, coffee shop with artisan bakery, country pub with restaurant, art gallery, and an active village hall. The market towns of Morpeth and Alnwick provide a wider range of facilities, whilst Newcastle is also within easy reach.
