Stroll into the heart of the village to enjoy the shops, restaurants and galleries or to sit by the harbour and watch waves break on the pebbly beach. You can take tours of the amazing chalk caves or go on fishing trips to catch your supper. Golf and coastal walks are relaxing activities, or head to Exeter for cathedral city attractions. Beer is a small picturesque fishing village on the south Devon coast near Seaton. The shingle beach is very sheltered, backed by limestone cliffs and was once fertile smuggling territory, plus contraband was hidden in nearby caves, which are now a popular tourist attraction
