This larch clad, single storey property boasts a beautiful veranda commanding breath-taking views of rolling countryside. Accommodating six guests in three en-suite bedrooms, Strawberry Lodge is the perfect base to enjoy all that Rutland, Leicestershire and the surrounding area has to offer. Situated in the middle of a working farm of 200 acres, with mixed produce of strawberries, sheep, arable, geese and turkeys for Christmas, you are well away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to enjoy this wonderful county with its many attractions.
Central to four market towns – Market Harborough, Melton Mowbray, Uppingham and Oakham (all of which are within 10 miles). Also just 10 miles away is the city centre of Leicester with the National Space Centre. The nearest village is Billesdon, just 5 minutes in the car and has a wonderful village shop, doctor’s surgery, post office, two pubs, an Indian restaurant, church and community centre with tennis courts. Rutland Water is just 12 miles away, where you can sail, cycle, bird watch, fish along with enjoying a super aquatic children’s play area.
